癒しとリラクゼーションのための空間

We provide high-quality bathing products from Europe and Japan, together with Imabari (Shikoku) premium towels selected for their beauty and comfort. Guests are encouraged to enjoy a deep hot bath and to try Japanese hemp body cloths. Afterwards, wrap oneself in a soft multi-layered cotton nemaki, traditionally worn after bathing and for sleep. Please enjoy these small but delightful comforts.

Koyasan is known for its kōya-maki (Sciadopitys verticillata), the umbrella pine with thick needles in whorls. Sprigs are offered by devotees to Kōbō Daishi and other deities. Our bathing area has kōya-maki flooring and is enhanced with the resin scent of fresh pine or hinoki essential oil, connecting us to the beauty of our forest surroundings.

The brand is well known and highly respected in northern Europe; its roots go back to the 1920s and the anthroposophic movement of Rudolf Steiner. The brand name derives from the Germanic seer Veleda of the 1st century AD.
